3 Tips on How to Pick the Best Staycation Spots

Staycations are an easy and great way to reset, refresh, and return to everything with a fresh mind.

We will be exploring some truly amazing staycation destinations in Kenya and providing you with the ultimate tips on planning a truly romantic getaway. For now, we are here to guide you on selecting the absolute best spots for your staycation.

1. Be creative and plan it together!

Select an area that you may not have thought of and do some research into what activities, lodges and camping groups are available. Look for a variety of activities, especially if you're going with a group or with young ones, to keep them occupied and exploring during the break.

You can also decide to book a house and just make it a relaxing stay with no outdoor activities, and just enjoy the facilities the house provides and play some board games.

P.S: Picnics are always a great idea.

2. Embrace Adventure

Book a house via air BnB, check out a new resort or lodge, and explore a hidden gem. Kenya is full of incredible spaces, and you have an unlimited number of options whether you're looking at a safari, beach or even mountainous regions. We have some incredible camping spots available too, where you can disconnect safely and enjoy some quiet time.

Take some time and enjoy the various activities in the area for example the Ol Pajeta Chimpanzee Sanctuary, or the Colobus Conservation Centre in Diani, and learn something incredible about all the creatures in the area.
